First Monday Trade Days may become a yearly event throughout East Texas, but that doesn't mean that it can't keep hundreds of thousands of people heading to the town of Canton for four days each month. The trade days are open from Thursday to the Sunday just before the 1st Monday each month, hundreds of vendors open their shops at the event to provide shoppers with a multitude of options.What began nearly a century ago as an antique market has grown into home to some of most innovative, cutting-edge furniture, antiques and collectibles to be located anywhere.
