First Monday Trade Days may be an annual event known throughout East Texas, but that isn't stopping hundreds of thousands of visitors from visiting the City of Canton to enjoy four days of the month. It is open from Thursday until the Sunday ahead of the First Tuesday of each month hundreds of vendors will set up shop for shoppers to shop in a myriad of ways.The first First Monday Park was established more than a century ago as a flea-market has turned into an area that houses some of the most fascinating, modern-day furniture, antiques and collectibles to be purchased anywhere.
