Hi, Cherry! Thanks for your helpful tips! Just coming off a relatively successful one-month tour on Match. Many dates; one soldier left standing who seems promising. Tips here seem spot on, except sending a wink (or a drink? this is not an option on Match). Winks are perceived as lazy by many of both sexes, me included. For that reason, I never send them and ingore them when I get them. I even have this noted at the end of my profile, as do some men I've seen. A very short note addressing something that caught your eye in a fellow's profile — witty, if possible — has worked for me. Also, this closing line: "Hope you'll check out my profile and be in touch, if anything strikes your fancy."
