This situation can be seen in one of two ways. One way is that Zumba is such a great workout that if you continue with it, you won’t be fat for long. On the other hand, you can see it as fat people have better sense than to do such a strenuous work out that is hard on the knees, hard on the heart, and in public.

I made it. I am a somewhat competitive person and I would rather die of a heart attack than stop a fitness class once I started. This is why I have been avoiding group fitness classes, even though I thoroughly enjoy them, until I get in better shape. But how can I get in better shape if I shy away from the fitness classes? I’m doing okay on my own, but the treadmill gets boring and have reached a bit of plateau.
